Classes resumed today at Kingsborough Community College and it was a mess on Oriental Blvd. KCC has agreed to join us in calling the 61 Police for traffic help for the next week or two.
KCC has record enrollment this year and that means even more cars. Manhattan Beach gets slammed during the summer beach months and now we’re getting slammed with college traffic.
MBCG will also be proposing ideas in our October meeting for parking changes that will relieve the problems on the streets nearest the College.
It will greatly help if the the Police or Traffic enforcement will step up patrols Monday through Thursday mornings the next two weeks.
