Police Report from the 61st Precinct.

Professor Anthony Andrews, Director of Governmental Affairs and Community Relations, Kingsborough Community College will discuss how we can improve relations between the college and the Manhattan Beach Community.  Are you concerned about speeding cars and motorcycles, parking problems?  This is the time to discuss your concerns, suggest solutions and ask questions.
Andrew Hoyles, Bureau of Recycling and Sustainability, NYC Department of Sanitation will describe the new Composting initiative coming to Manhattan Beach in June.  Why is the City implementing this?  Will everyone have to participate?  How does this work?  When is the compost pail picked up?  What happens if a resident doesn’t participate?  Will it bring more raccoons to the neighborhood—how will they be kept away from the pails?
Your participation is encouraged…meetings are open to everyone…bring a neighbor, bring a friend…light refreshments
